A TWIST on Ramen Bowls
Ingredients (Serves 1–2):

1 pack instant ramen (any flavor, discard or use half the seasoning packet)

2 cups water or broth (chicken, beef, or veggie)

1 soft-boiled egg
-
½ to 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken or cooked shrimp
-
1 green onion (scallion), thinly sliced
-
1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
1–2 tsp sriracha (adjust for heat)
-
Optional: sesame seeds, spinach, mushrooms, corn, lime wedge
Instructions:

Soft-Boil the Egg:

Bring a small pot of water to a boil.

Gently add your egg and boil for 6–7 minutes.

Remove and place in an ice bath to stop the cooking. Peel and set aside.

Build the Broth:

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water or broth to a simmer.
-
Stir in soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil.

Optional: Add mushrooms, spinach, or corn now if you’re using extras.

Cook the Noodles:

Add instant ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions (usually 3–4 minutes).

Add ½ the seasoning packet or none at all if you're flavoring with broth + sauces.

Add the Protein:

Stir in your shredded rotisserie chicken or cooked shrimp and heat through.

Assemble the Bowl:

Pour ramen into a large bowl.

Slice your soft-boiled egg in half and place it on top.
-
Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and an optional lime wedge for brightness.
